Visit from Grandma Rita

These pictures are backward, but I dont have time to fix it. We found some cheap plane tickets for my mom to come see us for a week. We had a really busy week. Molly was obviously worn out :) We had a birthday party for all 3 girls because Sarah needed a new bike so Heather could have her old one. We went to Chuck-E-Cheese and we had a great time! Thanks Grandma Rita! We also went to the zoo and the La Jolla cove again. It was another beautiful day.

Having a sleepover with the new sleeping bags from the birthday party.

Trying to use all the legos to make a castle.

Looking for crabs and shells at La Jolla cove.

Grandma looking at the Sea Lions on the rocks.

So sweet...

Making May day baskets to give to the neighbors.

Molly was so excited to get playdough!

Grandma braided the girls hair, they were so beautiful!

Molly did not want me to take her picture!

Heather figured it out with Grandmas help!

At the zoo.

Heather has really changed over the last few months, she looks SO old in this picture! She will be 5 on June 15th!

The hippo was right next to the glass, so everyone crowded around it.

La Jolla cove

We hit low tide and went to the cove at La Jolla. It was a perfect day there. The girls found some crabs (dead), named them sparkles and I dont remember the others name, and played with them for over an hour. There were Sea Lions swimming around the beach, and we found lots of hermit crabs.

Heather getting "kissed" by a sea anemone.

The two sea lions swimming close by.

Beach picture

This is a little closer to what I want.

Tour of Pat and Oscars

My MOPS group took a tour of Pat and Oscars. They make really good breadsticks, pizza, ect. The kids all got to make giant pizzas. They had a blast.

We had a huge turnout! There were close to 30 kids!

Easter morning

The girls had a great Easter. Heather got a new purple glittery bible. After church, we came home to watch the Masters and have Easter dinner.

Easter eggs and strawberry chicks

The girls dyed their eggs this year with hardly any help. They were very careful and did a great job! We also dipped strawberries in yellow dyed white chocolate and made chicks out of them. The girls delivered 2 of them to Neighbor Jack and Veronica, (the girls favorite neighbor). I think we will do them every year, the strawberries are in season right now, and they are SO yummy!

Easter Egg Hunt

On Sat. we went to our HOA Easter egg hunt. The girls did great!
