Sarahs Birthday Party

Sarah had a sleepover for her birthday party. She wanted to watch the new Diamond Castle barbie movie on the big tv. The girls had so much fun!

I have a lot going on right now, so her cake was pretty simple. She didn't seem to care. These are the puppies from the Barbie movie.

All the girls got to decorate their own cupcakes. They were really beautiful!!!

All the girls got involved in opening the presents. Luckily, Sarah is used to sharing, so she was fine with it!

Karlie and Rylee trying to get the presents out of the sack. It was a group effort.

They all loved the movie, but didn't fall asleep as quickly as I had hoped.

The next morning, they all had a great time coloring, then they wanted to watch the movie again!

Last week

Heather decided that she CAN write her name. She does great!

Sarah got a new shirt for "yellow day" at school.

She was very proud of her ribbon.

Painting theGirls Room

I got really brave and let the girls help paint the flowers and bugs on their walls. Sarah did a great job of course.

Molly wanted to paint a "lady dug" and a butterfly. This is what it looks like after I fixed it.

Heather painted last, so I got pictures of her painting. She did a great job!

Sarah started Kindergarten on Tuesday. She loved it! Her teacher is Mrs. Mahoney. She is very nice, Sarah told me today that she is her "teacher friend".

All the girls were up at 6:00. They were so excited.

Nathan gets to take Sarah to school on his way to work, Sarah is loving their "special time".

Do you think she is happy????

All ready to go!

I got to pick Sarah up. This is the door to her classroom.

Sarah and Heather missed each other. Heather thinks she is ready for kindergarten too, except she doesn't want to go, because she doesn't want to get "poked" ~ She will have to have some more immunizations before kindergarten.

Her school is pronounced Day-lard.

Mrs. Mahoney. Sarah gets a good girl card each day she follows the rules, after 12, she gets to pick a prize. I think she is going to be the teachers pet.

Sarah on her second day.

Labor Day Weekend

We took it easy this weekend. I finally got a picture of the girls in their polkadot dresses at church. (This is one of Sarahs favorite dresses.)

On Monday we went to check out Sarahs school, which Nathan hadn't been to yet, and then went to a lake nearby and had a picnic. The girls had fun collecting shells and whatever else they could find on the shore.

I think they would have played forever, but Nathan had to get home to study. He is a few weeks from taking the first of four CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) tests.

Aug. update # 2

Here are the pictures from the rest of Aug. Sarah got really brave while we were swimming at Karlies Grandma Judys pool.

She decided she could dive off the board. This was a BIG step for her!

Here she is in mid-air. It looks like she is flying!

She also decided that she would be brave enough to go down the waterslide! After a few times she even went on her tummy head first!

My friends Rachel and Ronda.

My MOPS leadership team. We had a family pool party.

At the beach again. Karlie was giving everyone a ride on her boogey board.

The kids collected sand crabs. They are little hermit crabs, they had a blast!

We went to Sea World with Ronda and her kids, and my friend Quan and her kids. Somehow Nathan got caught leading them down the path.

Heather holding a starfish.

A sad Molly Cake. Nathan took the girls to go on a ride, and she really wanted to go too.

Molly found Liam, and she felt better.

A family picture. Molly can be such a little stinker!

In the freshwater aquarium. The girls had a great time. We wont get to do as much with Karlie now that school has started.

The reason we went to Sea World, was to go to the Summer Nights Shamu Rocks show. The girls decided they wanted to sit in the soak zone. That is why everyone was wearing swim suits. This is the before shot.

Here is the after. Sarah did not like it. They were pretty cold. Nathan and I hid under a water proof blanket with Molly, so we were fine! I didn't get any pictures of the show though, I didn't want to chance getting my camera ruined. It was really neat though. We were right up front in the center of the stadium.

Aug. update

We have been pretty busy this month. Sarah starts school on the 2nd of Sept., so we have squeezed alot in before she starts.

Another cute one I really liked, but her feet are fuzzy :)

Sarah and Heather had a "creativity contest" Heather won the most "creative", and Sarah won the prettiest. They were very proud of themselves.

Sarah made a float for a parade.

We have been to the beach alot! The girls have gotten really comfortable in the ocean.

Molly woke up, and decided that she wanted to go outside and ride her "dike" - bike. She got ready all by herself!

Molly likes to wear goggles now. She really loves the pool.

This is the picture of Heather that I am going to use for her 4 year portrait. It really shows her personality!

We went to a sprinkler park with some friends on a really hot morning. I am not sure what Sarah was trying to do plugging her nose.

We went to a baseball game with a group from our church. It's a new stadium that is really family friendly. They have a big playground, grassy hill, and sand pit with toys. The girls loved it.
