Michigan

All right, I am finally back into the swing of things. This is from our trip to Michigan for Nathans Papas funeral. He was a wonderful grandfather to Nathan and was so great with the girls, we will really miss him...

We got to stay at Nathans cousin Sallys house in Allegan, MI. She has a great house for having company, we felt right at home. The girls planted flowers in her garden, caught fireflies, swam, swam, and swam some more! Thanks John and Sally for letting us stay with you! We were there for 6 days, and the girls got to play with all of the cousins, now 6 girls and 1 baby boy! We had a great time!

We were also able to have lunch at My Uncle Chuck and Aunt Bonitas house about 15 min. away from Sallys... Its a really small world! This is my dads brother Chuck, we hadn't seen them for a few years, it was great to have them meet all the girls.

I am hoping to be all caught up with pictures before school starts, we are going to be REALLY busy until then, taking advantage of the summer here in San Diego, so that is a really lofty goal, but I am going to try!

Heathers Disney Land Birthday

We went to Disney Land for Heathers 5th Birthday. We got up early on Sunday morning, spent all day at Disney Land, then stayed the night in a hotel with bunkbeds, (this was very exciting for the girls!) The next day we spent mostly at Disney land again, then went to California adventure park for the last few hours. They remembered going last year with Jennifer and her kids, so they were super excited about going back.

We were waiting for the fireworks, and realized we were right by Pixie Hollow, where tinkerbell is, but she was getting ready for the show, so they just played on all the neat flowers and mushrooms. Last year Heather and Molly fell asleep before the fireworks started, so it was very important that we saw them again this year.

The next morning at the hotel was Heathers real birthday. Her and Molly got to open a present from Daddy. Heather got a little candy machine, and Molly got a special pillow. They were SO happy with their presents.

The girls and Daddy went on the lady bug ride, this spins around and around, which would make me sick, so I opted out and just took pictures.

Sarahs last day of kindergarten!

Sarah had her last day of school on the 12th. She is on to 1st grade! We are so proud of her!

On Sat. one of the boys in her class had a birthday party, so she got to see her friends one last time before the summer break started. She is sitting next to Charlie, one of the boys who are her best friends.

We had Heather and Mollys party at our park and swimming pool. They had a great time even though it was pretty small.

I let Molly pick from her littlest pet shop amimals, and she picked turtles! It through me for a loop at first, but it turned out cute.

It was too windy to light the candles, so they just had to pretend.

Mollys special dress pictures

Well, I finally made myself do Mollys special dress pictures. Its a month late. ( I was really trying to pretend that she didn't just turn 3) Heathers birthday is in a few days so I couldn't put it off any longer.... She did much better this year than last.

Wild Animal Park

We finally went back to the wild animal park. They made a lot of changes since we were there over a year ago. The girls fed the birds by themselves this time, they were a little to scared last time.

It was not that hot, but the girls really wanted to go to the water park there, so they had to wear their clothes. They had so much fun!

We let them go to the petting zoo and feed the deer.

Before we left we got a picutre on the rhino, its a tradition we have done every time we've gone.

Ok, so we tried one last time to get the beach pictures that I have REALLY wanted for a LONG time! It was a perfect day! The tide was low, the sky was blue, the kids were happy!!!!

Nathan likes the pier in the background, I think this was his favorite.

This is the one I really like! I really wish I could crop on this blog, because I wait until I am printing them to crop them, and dont have time to do it twice. Anyway, I am printing this one at 20x30 and hanging it above my couch.

I also like this one, the edge line of the water is great.

We were trying for some fun poses, and the girls were trying, but then a bigger wave came in, and they freaked out on me! That was the end of the day. Oh, well, we got some really good ones.
